Jarvis Landry reportedly given permission to seek trade

INDIANAPOLIS — According to NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport, the Miami Dolphins have given Jarvis Landry’s representatives permission to seek a trade.

It will take cooperation from all parties.
Landry’s 400 career receptions top all receivers in NFL history over a four-year span and his departure would leave the team with Kenny Stills, DeVante Parker and Jakeem Grant as its top-three receivers.
Coach Adam Gase has praised Landry for his toughness and ability to consistently get open — even when the play isn’t designed for him.
It only makes sense for him to advocate for Landry playing in aqua and orange in 2018.
“Yes, [I’d like him to be part of the team] if it works out the way that we’ve kind of looked at things,” Gase said.
Really, that’s why we franchised him.

If Landry’s team is able to find a trading partner for the Dolphins he must agree in principle to a multi-year contract with his new team, and his new team must also have the resources necessary to make a trade for him.
